The National Art Gallery Committee and the National Cultural Foundation opens “A Conversation between Home Drums Beat First” & “De Bottom Bound To Drop Out”, an exhibition of art work at Queen’s Park and Zemicon Galleries. The official opening starts at Queen’s Park Gallery at 6:30pm Sunday May 10 and continue to the Zemicon Gallery.
“Home Drums Beat First” & “De Bottom Bound To Drop Out” explores tourism in Barbados: its realities, benefits and consequences through the eye of the contemporary visual artist. The exhibition coincides with Cultural Heritage Week and International Museum's Day May 18, 2009.
