A multi-media installation and Creole Portraits [2002–2003] a series of lithographic prints of braided hairstyles which meticulously incorporate the plantation instruments of torture and seeks to finally give an identity to women lost in plantation history. The installation and lithographs are by Barbadian Joscelyn Gardner.
