| Statement |
My paintings are based on realism, but what I really try to capture and convey is a mood, a feeling, an atmosphere. Each time I begin a painting, I ask myself what I can bring to this work form within myself that will make the painting special to me and hopefully to those who view it. I enjoy being adventurous, especially in the use of colour. Creativity is something we are all born with, and the process of creating something good and wonderful makes me feel most fulfilled as a human being. |
