| Statement |
My ultimate goal as an artist is to promote, preserve and explore critical aspects of Barbadian aculture and heritage, and, by extension, the Caribbean diaspora, through the visual arts (and theatre) while seeking further to explore the intricate yet exciting realm of the subconsious. In keeping with this goal, it is my vision to develop smart partnerships with corporate Barbados, NGO’s and government agencies to the extent where they can play their part as channels through which critical aspects of Barbadian culture are displayed by the artist. Together, we can play our part in ensuring that images of our culture, particularly those that are slowly disappearing, are preserved for generations to come. |
