NATIONAL ART GALLERY PLANS FOR BARBADOS REACH AN IMPORTANT MILESTONE
Plans for a National Art Gallery in Barbados reached an important milestone on October 1st when The National Art Gallery Act 2007 came into being by proclamation signed by His Excellency Sir Clifford Straughan Husbands, Governor General of Barbados.
The signing of the proclamation signals significant progress toward a national gallery for the citizens of Barbados and the specific responsibilities within the law which will be the remit of the National Gallery.
